3.5.3.4.1 SET IP ADDRESS
To set an IP address, Press
%
from the power-up screen, then highlight LAN Settings and
press
!
to enter the LAN Interface Setting submenu (see Table 3-18). To allow automatic gen-
eration of an IP address set either DHCP (see PAR. 3.5.3.4.4) or AUTO IP (see PAR. 3.5.3.4.3)
to ON.
To set the IP address manually, first set both DHCP (see PAR. 3.5.3.4.4) and AUTO IP (see
PAR. 3.5.3.4.3) to OFF. From the LAN Interface Settings submenu highlight IP Address and
press
!
.
The IP address consists of four 3-digit fields separated by periods (decimal points). Each 3-digit
field can be a maximum of 255 and is set independently. Use the
R
and
T
keys to highlight
the right-most digit of a 3-digit field and use the number keys to modify the field. The first num-
bers entered scroll to the left until the 3-digit field is full. The highlighted digit can be incre-
mented up or down using the UP or DOWN arrow keys. Use the
R
and
T
keys to move to
another three digit field. When complete, press
$
to apply.
3.5.3.4.2 CHANGE IP ADDRESS MASK.
To set the Address Mask manually, first set both DHCP (see PAR. 3.5.3.4.4) and AUTO IP (see
PAR. 3.5.3.4.3) to OFF. From the LAN Interface Settings submenu highlight Address Mask and
press
!
. Then enter the address mask as described above for IP Address (see PAR.
3.5.3.4.1). Press
$
to save for power up.
3.5.3.4.3 CONFIGURE AUTO IP
To configure the use of AUTO IP to set an IP address, press
%
from the power-up screen, then
highlight LAN Settings and press
!
to enter the LAN Interface Setting submenu (see Table 3-
18). Highlight AUTOIP and press
!
to modify the setting . Highlight OFF or ON and press
$
to apply, then press
$
to save for power-up.
3.5.3.4.4 CONFIGURE DHCP
To configure the use of DHCP to set an IP address, press
%
from the power-up screen, then
use
Y
and
U
keys until the display shows the current LAN settings (LAN SETTINGS high-
lighted). To modify, press
!
to enter the LAN Interface Setting submenu (see Table 3-18).
Highlight DHCP and press
!
to modify the setting. Highlight OFF or ON and press
$
to
apply, then press
$
to save for power-up.
3.5.3.4.5 CONFIGURE HOST NAME
To change the default Host Name, press

from the power-up screen, then use
Y
and
U
keys until the display shows the current LAN settings (LAN SETTINGS highlighted). To modify,
press

to enter the LAN Interface Setting submenu (see Table 3-18). Under Host, highlight
Name and press
!
to modify the setting. Enter up to 12 ASCII Characters and press
$
to
apply, then press
$
to save for power-up.
