12. Press both retention tabs on the tray to release the ServeRAID Li-Ion battery
and charger circuit assembly.
13. Press the charge circuit retention tab to release the ServeRAID Li-Ion battery
from the charge circuit assembly; then, disconnect the cable from the charge
circuit.
14. If you are instructed to return the battery holder, ServeRAID Li-Ion battery, and
charge circuit, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging
materials for shipping that are supplied to you.

Installing the battery holder, ServeRAID Li-Ion battery, and charge
circuit in a 3U chassis
To install the battery holder, ServeRAID Li-Ion battery, and charge circuit in a 3U
chassis, complete the following steps.
1. Touch the static-protective packages that contain the battery holder,
ServeRAID Li-Ion battery, and charge circuit to any unpainted metal surface on
the outside of the chassis; then, remove the battery holder, ServeRAID Li-Ion
battery, and charge circuit from the packages.
