Battery cabinet connection requirements: If the UPS capacity is 800 kVA or lower, connect
battery cables only to the power cabinet on the left. If the UPS capacity exceeds 800 kVA,
connect battery cables equally to both power cabinets. If the number of battery cabinets is
an odd number, the remaining battery cabinet can be connected to any of the power
cabinets.

Step 14 Install signal cables outside the cabinets.

If you need to log in to the WebUI of the UPS monitoring system, connect the
network port on a PC to the FE port on the monitoring interface card.
●
If the UPS needs to connect to an external network management device,
connect the external network management device to the RS485 port on the
monitoring interface card.
●
(Connection required only for SmartLi 2.0) If the UPS needs to connect to the
SmartLi, connect the COM port on the monitoring interface unit in the master
SmartLi cabinet to the COM2 port on the monitoring interface card.

● Do not bind signal cables and power cables together.
● RS485 cables and FE cables must be shielded cables.
● The figure uses the cable connection between the UPS and the SmartLi as an example.
