Front Spring Replacement

Failure of a single spring will result in overstressing the other springs; therefore replace the front springs
as a set.
Lift and support front of vehicle per SAFETY section. Support front axle with jack stand.
Remove the front wheels.
Remove the hardware (12) securing the front spring leaf and wheel shaft (2) (Ref Fig. C4).

Pull down the top of the floor mat. Find out and remove the hardware (13) securing the spring rear and
frame.
To install new springs, use hardware (13) to secure the spring rear and frame first, and then use
hardware (12) to install spring leaf front onto the wheel shaft. Repeat the above-mentioned operation for
the other side.
