Each Charge Cycle
Do not have the battery charger plugged in the unwatched vehicle after normal charge cycle is
over. Overcharge may damage the vehicle battery and result in
overheat. Check the charger after 24 hours, and unplug the recharger when the charge cycle is
over.
Before battery charging, check for dust or chips on the charger plug and the casing of car-borne
receptacle.

Battery should be charged after it works for several days.
Once Every Month

Check the wires for wear, binding post for looseness, and insulating materials for corrosion or aging.

Check for the correct electrolyte level, and fill in right amount of water as required.

Clean the battery and wires’ terminal posts.
Electrolyte Level and Water Level
Correct electrolyte level should be 1/2’’ higher than the plates of each unit (Ref Fig. J1).
Electrolyte level should reserve a clearance of approximately 1/4’’-3/8’’ between electrolyte and
vent-pipe; the electrolyte level is extremely important because any portion of plate exposed in air may be
damaged and cannot be repaired. Excessively high level is also a grave problem; in such a case,
electrolyte will be forced out of the battery due to volumetric gain of electrolyte caused by gas and
charge cycle.
