5.4.2 Standalone operation using activated local pressure transmitter

Only UA 410 E AC

If this operating mode is used, the suction gas temperature t

for determination of the superheat is calculated

using the suction gas temperature t

coming from the local pressure transmitter

and

the value of the evaporator

outlet sensor R6.x; see chapter

Superheat control

. This operating mode is recommended for evaporators with

high refrigerating capacity that require

high control dynamics

The determination of the superheat via the local pressure transmitter is activated by setting the parameter

AIn1

aktiv

to "ON" (menu 6-2-6). The suction gas temperature t

determined using the local pressure transmitters is

always the preferred one; even if the suction gas temperature t

transmitted by the pack controller via the CAN

bus is available in the controller, as the controller is integrated in the

CAN bus

ATTENTION

In the event of failure of the pressure transmitters

and

the CAN bus (suction gas temperature t

for

superheat control is no longer available), the controller can operate

to a limited extent

in the so-called

standalone mode. This means that the case controller operates autonomously. In this case, R5.x

and

R6.x are necessary sensors and

must

be connected; see chapter

Standalone operation using

evaporator inlet sensors
