● The icon flashes while you are dialing a video-phone call and is displayed continuously during the call. If the call is connected at the “32K”
dialing speed, flashes.
● During a hands-free call, is displayed and the other party’s voice is played through the FOMA terminal speaker. Pressing

again switches hands-free mode off and changes to .
● Always keep the FOMA terminal away from your ear during a hands-free call. Holding the FOMA terminal close to your ear could adversely affect
your hearing or damage your ear.
● You cannot enter phone numbers and make video-phone calls while “Keypad dial lock” or “Restrict dialing”.
● If the FOMA terminal receives and forwards a video-phone call, a message appears notifying you that the call is being forwarded while call
forwarding is in progress.

Notify caller ID

Choose from the following options:
Select whether to notify the other party of your caller ID.

OFF Withholds your caller ID.

Dialing speed

Choose from the following options:
Set the connection speed used for video-phone calls.

64K Sets this option to make video-phone calls at a dialing speed of “64K” bps.

32K Sets this option to make video-phone calls at a dialing speed of “32K” bps.

Choose the following options:
Set the image used for video-phone calls.

Me Sets self-portrait.

Chara-den Sets Chara-den.

Release Cancels the Original/Chara-den setting.

The Dialing speed setting only applies to one (dialed) call and is not stored in the Redial or Dialed calls records. Also, if you make a voice call after
specifying a Dialing speed setting, the setting is ignored.
