Guide to the Melody List
●
Melodies with file restrictions are marked with the icon next to the melody icon.
● Melodies with or before the title are restricted so that only a designated part of the melody will play. When such
melodies are set as a ring tone, only the designated part can be played, though the entire melody can be played in
Melody player. You can also change the file names and titles of these melodies.
The display shows 9 melodies listed by title with icons that show the
melody types, retrieval methods and the options that can be set for each
melody.

Titles and file names
Original titles are assigned to downloaded melodies.
The title is the name displayed in the Melody List display on the FOMA terminal.
The file name is the name displayed when the melody is downloaded to a PC, etc.
If there is no information for inclusion in the file name, the file name becomes “melodyxxx” (where “xxx” is a 3-digit
number).
The 3-digit number at the end of the file name is a serial number assigned to distinguish the file from other files
with the same name.
Operations available while a melody is playing
You can use the operations shown below while Melody Player is playing a melody.
● If you change the volume and then press
d
or wait roughly 2 seconds, the Melody Player display reappears.
●
If you change the volume while a melody is playing, the volume reverts to the level specified in “Ring volume” when you
exit Melody player.
