Changing the i-mode host (IP connection) <Host selection>
Default setting i-mode
Use this procedure to select a different host when you are using a service other than i-mode. If you change to a host
other than i-mode, you can no longer use i-mode or i-mode mail.
● You can store up to 10 hosts other than “i
-
mode”.

Specifying Whether to Use Stored Data in Flash Images <Use saved data>
Use this function to specify whether stored data is used when a Flash image is running.
●
The saved data may be used depending on the particular Flash image. In order for the Flash image use the saved data,
you need to set “Use saved data” of “i-mode settings” to “ON”. The default setting is “YES”. The saved data is follows:

Battery level
・
Ring volume setting
・ Reception level ・ Bilingual setting
・
Date and time information
・
Model info

“Use saved data”

Choose the following options:
* There is normally no need to change this setting.

Title Sets the title. The title can consist of up to 9 full-pitch or 18 half-pitch characters.

Host name Sets the host name. The name can consist of up to 30 half-pitch characters.

Host address Sets the host address. The address can consist of up to 99 half-pitch characters.
Note
● You cannot change your i - mode host while you are using i - mode. Exit i - mode and then change the host.
● Note that costs of packet communication while you are connected to a host other than i - mode are not covered by the “Pake-Houdai” deal.
● To change a stored “User setting host”, use the procedure for storing the host name.
● If you delete a stored “User setting host”, select the host to be deleted and select “Delete” from the Function menu. Enter your security code, press

, select “YES”, and press

. If the “User setting host” that you delete is set as the host, the host returns to “i-mode”.
● If you use a different FOMA card (UIM) from that used when the host was stored, the host may revert to “i - mode”.
