Adding phone numbers and e-mail addresses to the phonebook <Add to phonebook>
Use this procedure to add a phone number or e-mail address displayed on a site page or screen memo to your
phonebook.

If the name, reading and mail address are attached to telephone number, they are also entered to the phonebook
telephone number. Enter remains of needed items and then save to the phonebook.
Working with Flash images
Flash is an animation technique supported by the FOMA terminal that uses both images and sound. Flash gives you
access to a wide range of animations and visually exciting sites. You can also download a Flash image to your
FOMA terminal and set it in the stand-by display.
● A Flash playing error prevents successful completion of the saving.
● Depending upon a Flash image vibrate the FOMA terminal during playback. Note that it vibrate, even if the vibrator
setting have set to “OFF”.
● Some Flash images may not run correctly.
● You may also be able to control a even when does not appear at the bottom of the display.
●
Flash images are not displayed if you select “OFF” in “Set image display”.
● Selecting “YES” in “Use saved data” (P. 226) allows you to load data stored on the FOMA terminal (time, date, signal
strength, battery level, ring volume, language, model type and model info).

If you use “Reload” to view a site after you have entered text or entered your ID or password, etc., a message may appear asking whether to resend
the data. (This message will appear even without “Reload” being used on sites that reload automatically.) Select “YES” to update the site.
●
If you use “Reload” in the final completion display for pages such as questionnaires or other forms, a message appears asking whether to resend the
data. Note that selecting “YES” may resend information that has already been sent once.

● To rerun a Flash image, select “Retry” from the Function menu. → P. 205
● Some Flash images use sound effects. To run a Flash image without the sound effects, select “Sound effect” in the Function menu and then select
the “OFF” setting. When the vibrator is set to “Melody linkage”, the FOMA terminal’s vibrator may fail to vibrate when sound effects are played.
● Sound effects for Flash images set in the stand-by display are not played.
● Depending upon a Flash image vibrate to set the vibrator setting to ON. If you set them to incoming call display, incoming video-phone call display or
incoming mail display, the FOMA terminal vibrate according to the settings of the “Vibrator” or “Manner mode set”. However if you set to stand-by or
wake-up display, the FOMA terminal does not vibrate.
● When some Flash images are saved or saved as a screen memo, part of the images may not be saved or they may otherwise differ from the way
they appear on the site.
