The miniSD memory card is an optional accessory. If you don’t have a miniSD memory card, please purchase one at
your local electronic store.

● Do not remove the miniSD memory card during formatting as this could cause FOMA terminal or miniSD memory card faults.
● Data saved onto a miniSD memory card after card formatting was interrupted is not guaranteed.
● The call alert indicator flashes green during formatting.
● If you receive a voice or video-phone call or press the

(Quit) or

key during formatting, formatting is cancelled and is displayed. When
this happens, format the miniSD memory card again.

● Do not remove the miniSD memory card during checking as this could cause FOMA terminal or miniSD memory card faults.
● You cannot check unformatted or incompatible miniSD memory cards.
● The call alert indicator flashes green during checking.
● If you receive a voice or video-phone call or press the

(Quit) or

key during miniSD memory card checking, miniSD memory card checking
is cancelled.
● If miniSD memory card checking is interrupted, some of the data being recovered may remain. If this occurs, run “Check miniSD” again.
● Depending on the amount of data stored on the miniSD memory card, the “Check miniSD” operation may take some time.
● It may not be possible to recover data on some miniSD memory cards.
USB mode setting Details
Communication mode In this mode, the external connection terminal is used for packet communication, 64K data communication and
data exchange (OBEX).
miniSD mode In this mode, the external connection terminal is used for reading and writing data on a miniSD memory card. You
cannot import or export data between the FOMA terminal and the miniSD memory card, display data in memory
or format the miniSD memory card.
