You cannot search when you are in card read mode or compose message mode.

Add to memo When the data is scanned in URL mode, the scanned URL is stored as a text memo.
When the data is scanned in mail address mode, the scanned e-mail address is stored as a text memo.
When the data is scanned in phone number mode, the scanned phone number is stored as a text memo.
When the data is scanned in free memo mode, the scanned data is stored as a text memo.

Reading mode set

Choose from the following options:
Change the scanning mode.

Choose from the following options:
Set the type of printed output.

Auto setting Automatically chooses negative or positive output.

Positive fix Selects this option when printing dark text on a light background.

Negative fix Selects this option when printing light text on a dark background.

Selects vertical or lateral (horizontal) writing for the Japanese text to be scanned.
Note
● When you scan data in URL mode, the “http://” or “https://” prefix is added to the scanned text in the following situations:
・ If the scanned text does not include “://”, “http://” is added to the beginning of the text. However, if the text begins with “/” or “//”, the “/” or “//” is
converted to “http://”.
・ If the scanned text already includes “://”, the “//” is converted to “http://”. However, if the “://” is preceded by “s” (s://) or “S” (S://), the “//” is
converted to “https://”.
● If you launch the access reader from the dictionary, select “
