Using the zoom
Using the zoom (Tele/Wide) allows you to adjust the image being shot to the desired size.
● The zoom can be adjusted from 1

to 4

in 16 steps on the rear camera.

The front camera zoom can be adjusted from 1

to roughly 2
×
in 2 steps. Note that the zoom cannot be used with CIF
(352
×
288) format images.
● You can also adjust the zoom setting when shooting a movie.

The FOMA terminal’s zoom is digital.

File size setting

Set the file size used for audio recording.

Restricted (Short)
(when launching camera)
Allows you to record audio files up to 290 KB in size. Select this option to send a
standard movie as an i-mode mail attachment.

Restricted (Long)
Allows you to record audio files up to 490 KB in size. Select this option to send a
large movie as an i-mode mail attachment.
