Choose from the following options:
Sort movies.

Chronological ↑
(default setting)
Arranges movies in chronological order by retrieval date/time.

Chronological ↓ Arranges movies in reverse chronological order by retrieval date/time.

By title ↓ Arranges movies in ascending order by title.

By title ↑ Arranges movies in descending order by title.
5
By size ↑ Arranges movies in ascending order by size.
6
By size ↓ Arranges movies in descending order by size.
7
By source Arranges movies in ascending order by retrieval method.

<Set as ring tone>
● You can only set a movie or i - motion where setting the i - motion as a ring tone is “Available”. Refer to the “i - motion info” to check whether setting the
i-motion as a ring tone is “Available” or “Unavailable”.
<Stand-by display>
● If you delete a movie or i
-
motion that was set in the stand-by display, the stand-by display reverts to its default setting.
● Movies or i
-
motions cannot be set in the stand-by display in the following situations:
・ When the movie or i
-
motion is voice only or text only
・ When the movie format is not MP4
・ When there are playback restrictions on the i
-
motion
・ When the movie is not compatible with the FOMA terminal
● Some movies may not be displayed correctly in the stand-by display.
● You cannot use the Web To, Mail To or Phone To functions from an i
-
motion set in the stand-by display.
<Compose message>
● You cannot compose i - mode mail in the following situations:
・ When the movie has a file size of over 500 KB
・ When there are already 20 stored draft mail messages
・ When there are playback restrictions on the i - motion
・ When the movie was shot as a Chara-den movie with “File restricted” set after shooting
・ When it is prohibited to output the i - motion to devices other than a FOMA terminal
● You can trim an i - motion to a size that allows it to be attached to i - mode mail. → P. 383
<Sort>
● “By source” sorts movies in the order shown below. Movies or i

motions with the same retrieval icon are arranged in the order in which they were
shown before you selected “By source”.

Mail Sets the movie as the ring tone for mail.

Chat mail Sets the movie as the ring tone for Chat mail.

Msg. Request Sets the movie as the ring tone for Message Request.

Msg. Free Sets the movie as the ring tone for Message Free.
