Sound setting

Choose from the following options:
Set the tone sounded in the Chat display when new Chat mail is received or Chat mail is sent. When you have
made your own folder, it is displayed after the “Pre-installed” option.

Inbox Selects a melody downloaded from a site or the Internet.

Pre-installed Selects a melody or ring tone from the preinstalled folder.

Voice announce Selects the notification tone from the recorded melody or ring tone in “Voice
announce”.

OFF No notification tone sounds.

Chat image

Choose from the following options:
Set whether to display an image in the new chat mail area.

ON
(default setting)
Displays an image in the Latest Message area in the Chat display.

OFF Displays no image in the Latest Message area in the Chat display.

Read out chat

Choose from the following options:
Set whether to read out new chat mail.

ON Reads out Chat mail.

OFF

Does not read out Chat mail.

● The notification tone does not sound when you receive chat mail from someone who is not a registered chat group member.

Image

Choose from the following options:
Select the image you want to display on the chat screen. When you have made your own folder, it is displayed after
the “Pre-installed” option.

Inbox Selects an image saved in the inbox.

Camera Selects an image taken by the FOMA terminal.

Pre-installed Selects an image from the preinstalled folder. Choose from “Cotto”, “Natali”,
“Nino”, “Chica”, “Chack” and “Nana”.

Voice

Choose from the following options:
Select your voice when messages are read out in the chat display.

Female 1
(default setting)
Reads out chat mail in Female Voice 1.

Female 2 Reads out chat mail in Female Voice 2.

Male 1 Reads out chat mail in Male Voice 1.

Male 2 Reads out chat mail in Male Voice 2.

Robot Reads out chat mail in a Robot Voice.
