Description
of detection
There is no change in the external heat disengage sensor
even by disengagement operation.
Measures 1. Check the connector of the external heat disengage sensor
(PS16), and replace the sensor if necessary.
2. Check the connector of the fixing sub driver PCB2 (PCB10),
and replace the PCB if necessary.
3. Check the connector of the fixing main driver PCB (PCB8),
and replace the PCB if necessary.
4. Check for damage on the gear of the fixing drive unit, and
replace the gear if necessary.

Error in pressure application operation of the pressure roller
Description
of detection
There is no change in the lower unit engage/disengage
sensor2 even by pressure application operation.
Measures 1. Replace the gear set (FY7-0413-000).
Refer to SI (F1-T01-N04-10058-01) and Tech Pub (TP10-
158).
2. Check the connector of the lower unit engage/disengage
sensor2 (PS13), and replace the sensor if necessary.
3. Check the connector of the fixing belt press motor (M10),
and replace the motor if necessary.
4. Check the connector of the fixing sub driver PCB1 (PCB9),
and replace the PCB if necessary.
5. Check the connector of the fixing main driver PCB (PCB8),
and replace the PCB if necessary.

(PS152), and replace the sensor if necessary.
2. Check the connector of the waste toner feed motor (M76)/
waste toner stirring motor (M69), and replace the motor if
necessary.
3. Check the degree of waste toner clogging inside the waste
toner buffer if necessary.
