5 In the Export CAD Formats dialog, specify a name and location for the exported file.
6 Click Export.
Room Properties
As model elements, rooms have instance properties. You can change the values of some parameters. Other
parameters are read-only values.

Modifying Room Properties
1 In a plan view or section view, select a room and click Modify Rooms tab

2 In the Instance Properties dialog, edit room instance parameters.

3 Click OK.
If you have created a room schedule that includes parameters that can be modified, you can change the
parameter values in the schedule.

Description Name
Constraints
The base level on which the room resides. A read-only value. See Defining the Lower
Boundary of a Room on page 994.
Level
The level from which to measure the upper boundary of the room. See Defining the
Upper Boundary of a Room on page 993.
Upper Limit
The distance at which the upper boundary of the room occurs, measuring from the
Upper Limit level. Enter a positive number to go above the Upper Limit level, or Limit Offset
enter a negative number to go below it. Enter 0 (zero) to use the level specified for
the Upper Limit. The default is 10’ (4000 mm). See

The distance at which the lower boundary of the room occurs, measuring from the
base level (defined by the Level parameter). Enter a positive number to go above Base Offset
the base level, or enter a negative number to go below it. Enter 0 (zero) to use the
base level. The default is 0. See
