Exercise 3:Adding a Keynote Legend

This exercise shows how to create a sheet keynote legend in a drawing. When the legend is created, the keys are
numbered in the drawing, and the corresponding notes are listed in the legend.

Create a sheet keynote legend

With the Project Navigator open, click the Views tab.

Under Views\Interior, double-click Enlarged Plans Typical to open it in the drawing area.

Click 

 on the Zoom flyout of the Navigation toolbar to zoom to the drawing extents.

On the Annotation tool palette, click Sheet Keynote Legend.

Use a selection window to select all the sheet keynotes in the restrooms.

Press ENTER to end the selection process.

Click below the lobby to specify the insertion point of the table.

Zoom in to the keynote legend.

Zoom in to the keynotes in the drawing.

Notice that the keys are numbered, whereas previously they contained question marks. When you generate a
legend, the numbers are assigned and appear only on the current sheet.
