2. Action (Refer to “ASSY-8” for assembly drawing.)
The shafts of stepping motors (7) and (13) slide up or down when pulse is given.
This sliding motion is transferred to plungers (3) and (10).
Plungers (3) and (10) have shade pins which shade home position sensor (6) light
at home position. This detects home position at initialization.
- Home position is at the top. (Dispense ending position)
At aspiration, shafts of stepping motors (7) and (13) go down, and plunger also
goes down.
At dispensation, shafts of stepping motors (7) and (13) go up, and plunger also
goes up.
In measurement, if plunger will not be at the home position within the fixed time,
system gives an alarm and emergency stop.
