Line power should be supplied through one of the holes provided on the
right side of the lower enclosure. The proper wiring should be capable of
providing 15A/100 VAC or 7.5A/240 VAC.
EZx with a Vortex cooler 14 AWG stranded wire should be used with
watertight metal conduit. EZx with an air conditioner 12 AWG stranded
wire should be used with watertight metal conduit. The proper wiring
should be capable of providing 20A/115VAC or 10A/230 VAC. The
branch circuit must be externally fused at no more than 20A.
The line power connection terminals for the
EZx
are located on the
wiring panel terminal block TB1. The “hot” and “neutral” conductors
must be connected to terminals L1 and L2 respectively. These terminals
have a torque specification of 0.6 N/m or 5.5 lbs/in.
A ground terminal located on the bottom left of the enclosure is
provided for safety ground connections. This terminal should be
tightened to 5.1 N/m or 45 lb/in.

) for detailed
information. All Line power wiring must conform to National Electric
Code (US) and/or any local regulations. The EZx incorporates universal
voltage and connects anywhere in the world.
