WARNING.
High voltage that may be present on leads could
cause electrical shock.
▲
•
The main isolator switch must be OFF when checking input
AC electrical connections, removing or inserting any electrical
item, or attaching voltmeters to the system.
•
Use extreme caution when testing in, on, or around the
electronics cabinet, high voltages in excess of 115 V or 230 V
are present in these areas.
•
There is also an
X-ray
hazard inside the main cabinet.
All power supplies and motor drives in the
EZx
are electronically current
limited. The line power fuses, F2 and F3, should never need to be
replaced unless there is a catastrophic failure in power supply, the motor
drive, or line voltage wiring.
Fuse F4 protects the 24 VDC wiring. If F4 needs to be replaced check
for shorts in the wiring to auxiliary devices such a photo eyes and
solenoid valves before reapplying power to the
EZx
.
Fuse F1 protects the wiring to line powered auxiliary devices. Check the
wiring to these devices, if any, before reapplying power. (Refer to
Figure 4–12
and
Figure 4–13
for pictures of fuse location. Fuses F1,
F2, and F3 are located directly inside the middle cabinet door, Fuse F4 is
located inside the X-ray Generation Cabinet.)
Note.
If a fuse blows more than once, do not try to replace it
again. Contact
Thermo Fisher Scientific
service.
