Check the emergency stop to ensure it is working correctly. The X-rays
and the conveyor belt motor are disengaged when an emergency stop is
activated. When the E-stop switch is re-set, X-rays should not come
back on and the motor should not start until the machine is instructed to
do so using the touch screen and the motor start/stop switch.

After the X-rays have started, push the
EMERGENCY STOP
located
on the front of the machine and make sure the X-rays disengage.
Check that the interlocks and E-stops are working correctly. The
interlocks are placed inside the conveyor hoods and prevent X-rays from
being emitted once the hood is slightly open. The E-stop is to be used in
case of emergency to stop the x-rays and conveyor belt.
