Example
If you have chosen the Package Photo Eye input
assignment, set up the photo eye device, the photo eye is now
configured, and it is time to determine what should happen when
the photo eye is blocked (the event). Do you want it to Warn,
Alarm, or Shutdown?

Note.
Alarms that could pose a safety threat can only be
configured to Alarm and Shutdown. Motor Speed Fault would be
such an alarm.

When the alarms are set, the colors of the alarms listed below indicates
the condition of the alarm:
•
Grey
indicates the alarm is disabled
•
Yellow
indicates warning
•
Orange
indicates alarm
•
Red
indicates shutdown
•
Pink
indicates shutdown and stop belt
Use the following steps to set alarms:

Alarms that are at a level other than shutdown do not cause

X-ray

to save the changes
