Hint.
Below are a few helpful hints for adjusting filter
thresholds.

If the product changes density during the day, these
thresholds may need adjustment.
•
Increasing the filter threshold values decreases the sensitivity.
Decreasing the values increases the sensitivity that in turn
increases the likelihood of false rejects.

When a
Quick Learn
is performed, the
EZx
sets default power settings
based on the aperture size and the belt speed. The higher the mA, the
brighter the image, the KV increases the
X-ray
penetration. If after a
Quick Learn
the product image is not clear, change the settings here.
Note.
If the Power Supply settings and/or the Filter Settings are
setup manually, running a Quick Learn resets them to the default
and they need to be manually set again.

Hint.
If the product image is completely washed out and the KV is
decreased the product displays darker. The goal is to be able to
see some of the product.
