Statistics File
This appendix gives an overview of the statistics files associated with
the EZx software.
When products are inspected during a configured shift a statistics file is
created that keeps a record of:
•
Product name
•
Information about the shift
•
Number of packages inspected
•
Number of rejected packages
•
Time stamp of when rejected packages were rejected.
The statistics file can be downloaded from the machine and viewed and
manipulated in another spread sheet software such as Excel. There are 2
ways to extract the information:
•
Export the file to a USB memory device from the
V
IEW
S
TATISTICS
screen (see View Statistics on page A-51).
•
Download the files from the system using FTP (see Connecting to
the EZx FTP Server on page F-2)
The files are stored in plain text files with the file named for the month
and year the statistics were gathered. For example, the statistics file for
November 2006 would have a file name
112006.txt
.
The file contains rows of tab-delimited data each row contains the data
for a single product inspection run during a single shift. This file can be
easily imported into spreadsheet software such as Excel for further
analysis. An example is given below:
