Philips screwdriver
1. Turn instrument OFF, unplug the power cord, and remove the cover.
2. Unplug the solenoid electrical cable.
3. Disconnect all lines from defective solenoid.
4. Remove the solenoid and replace with the new solenoid.
5. Reconnect the electrical connection and the lines.
6. Check for leaks after replacing any solenoid. Refer to “Leak Test and
Pump Checkout” in this chapter.

Use the following procedure to replace the pressure transducer. Refer to
to locate the pressure transducer within
the instrument, and refer to

need the pressure transducer part number.
Equipment Required:
Pressure transducer assembly
Philips screwdriver, short
1. Turn instrument OFF, unplug the power cord, and remove the cover.
2. Disconnect plumbing from the pressure transducer assembly. Note the
plumbing connections to facilitate reconnection.
3. Disconnect the pressure transducer PRESS connector from the
measurement interface board.
Equipment Damage
Some internal components can be damaged by small
amounts of static electricity. A properly grounded antistatic wrist strap must
be worn while handling any internal component.
