Replacement
Use the following procedure to replace the back pressure regulator.
Equipment Required:
Back pressure regulator
Wrenches, 5/32 and 1/2-inch
Flatblade screwdriver
Philips screwdriver
1. Turn instrument OFF, unplug the power cord, and remove the cover.
2. Remove plumbing.
3. Loosen four (4) captive screws and remove the assembly.
4. Remove the pressure transducer.
5. Remove the back pressure regulator handle.
6. Remove two (2) screws holding the regulator to the bracket.
7. Remove the back pressure regulator.
8. Install a new back pressure regulator and calibrate.
9. After calibration, tighten the locking nut securing the position of the
back pressure regulator handle.
10. Remove flow controller assembly.
Equipment Damage
Some internal components can be damaged by small
amounts of static electricity. A properly grounded antistatic wrist strap must
be worn while handling any internal component.
