Pressure Regulator
Replacement
Use the following procedure to replace the pressure regulator (
).
Equipment Required:
Pressure regulator
Wrenches, 7/16 and 9/16-inch
1. Turn instrument OFF, unplug the power cord, and remove the cover.
2. Remove plumbing.
3. Remove fitting from bottom of the pressure regulator by holding the
assembly in place with a 9/16-inch wrench as shown in
and
loosening the pressure regulator fitting.

4. Remove the pressure regulator and replace with a new unit.
5. Reconnect plumbing and check for leaks. Refer to “Leak Test and Pump
Checkout” in this chapter.
Equipment Damage
Some internal components can be damaged by small
amounts of static electricity. A properly grounded antistatic wrist strap must
be worn while handling any internal component.
