An ultrasonic transmission sensor and a receiving sensor are built in. The flow is measured by the ultrasonic transit method, and
air bubbles are detected by the change in the ultrasonic receiving level.

The ABD/Flow Sensor is attached to the blood circuit tube (inner diameter 9.5 mm (3/8 inches)).
