2C.3 TP SKN KEY INTERFACE
The interface for electronic keys comprises a total of 4 key readers connected via serial bus and permit the control of
maximum 3 programs with electronic keys MPKEY. The interface is to be connected via serial bus RS485.
2C.3.1 ELECTRONIC BOARD
CONNECTION OF THE KEY READERS
The key readers provide 6 terminals on the rear permitting the
connection to the key interface via serial bus RS485.
The key interface provides 6 terminals for the connection of the
key readers. The connection must be made by means of a 6
wires cable, 2 wires of which are used for data interchange
whereas the other 4 wires are needed for led signaling on the
key reader.
It is possible to connect less wires if the control panel is not
used up to its capacity.
LED SIGNALING ON THE KEY READER
If the opposite example of connection has been followed, the
LED on the key reader assume the following meaning:
WARNING
If all the LED are blinking, the serial bus is missing or connected incorrectly.
