2.4 CPU BOARD

All the operations of the control panel are controlled in real time by the software residing on the microprocessor the
correct functioning of which is controlled by a permanently active watch-dog circuit.

CPU PROTECTION

z

The output section for the outdoor siren is protected by PTC

z

The output section for power supply of the detectors is protected by rapid fuse

In addition, if battery voltage drops below 9V, the battery is automatically disconnected in order to avoid its complete
and irreversable discharge.

COMPOSITION

The CPU board is devided into the following sections:

z

Power supply (b transformer)

z

Serial bus (2 RS485 ports + 1 TTL port for connection of the PC interface)

z

Telephone

In addition, the removable terminal board is connected through plug-in connection.
