Serial bus extension module
SPEED RS485
Permits the extension of the RS485 serial bus by 1 kilometer or the creation of star-shaped connections.
N.B. The serial bus extension has no address.
Wireless modules
RTX200
Bidirectional dualband receiver-transmitter permitting the control of maximum 64 wireless devices (detectors or
contacts).
RX300
Dualband receiver permitting the control of maximum 64 wireless devices (detectors or contacts).
It is possible to connect up to 2 receiver-transmitters RTX200 or RX300 for a total of 128 wireless devices.
SAEL 2000 WL
Bidirectional wireless siren
TX240-3
Wireless key with 3 function keys transmitting with rolling code.
TP16-256 distinguishes up to 60 wireless keys.

INSTALLATION
3.3.1
CONNECTION OF THE MODULES VIA SERIAL BUS RS485
Once you have configurated and physically installed the hardware (i.e. expansion modules, consoles, detectors,
sirens etc.) procede with wiring of the devices to the CPU board.
The connection is to be made using a 5-wires twisted serial cable (4 wires for RS485 serial bus + 1 wire for voice
report on the consoles).
Connect the modules in series ("cascade connection"), i.e. connect all the modules in sequence.
WARNING
Use exclusively
twisted cable
for the connection of the serial bus and power supply.
Ensure that there are no short circuits, especially on the power supply cables (see connection
scheme on page 3-10).
Never wire the positive power supply voltage between two self-powered modules (see connection
scheme on page 3-10).
Wire the modules according to the hardware configuration shown on the screen.
Upon connection of the console LCD300/S remember to connect the speaker wire (terminal S).
Do not make star-shaped connections or ramifications unless you interconnect a serial bus
expansion module.
Insert the end-of-serial-bus jumper only on the last device of the serial chain RS485.
Never invert polarity of the serial bus RS485 (wires A-B).
Pay attention to the polarity of power supply on the loop (twisted cable).
