2.3 BATTERY CONNECTION

If mains power is missing, power supply is taken on by the battery. Autonomy of the system depends on the kind of
battery and the consumption of the detectors connected.
The control panel is supplied with two cables (red and black) prewired to the CPU board and equipped with 2 faston
connectors permitting easy connection of the battery.
Once you have placed the battery in its bay, connect mains power first, and only then connect the faston connectors
the the corresponding terminals of the battery (red +, black -).

WARNING

Use a battery with max. 12V-17Ah capacity.
If mains connection is missing, the control panel will not work automatically if powered by battery
only. For this, insert the jumper JP11 for some seconds, then remove it again.
