RECORDING OPENING MESSAGE USING TECNOALARM PROGRAMMING AND MONITORING SOFTWARE
Connect a microphone to the sound card of your PC and initiate recording by pressing the button Record message
(sound card)
Speak clearly and loudly. On the screen, the opening message recorded will be displayed as a sound wave.
For interruption, press the button
Record message (sound card) again.
The maximum recording time is 16 seconds . Upon expiry of the recording time, recording is automatically stopped.
RECORDING OPENING MESSAGE USING A PC
Connect a microphone to the sound card of your PC and any sound manager whatsoever.
RECORDING OPENING MESSAGE BY TELEPHONE
The message can be recorded during a voice call with the control panel.
The 10 seconds recording time is unchangeable.
Since the recording time is unchangeable, it is recommended to record a message of approximately 10 seconds
length in order to avoid mute periods during the reproduction of the message.
SELECTION OF THE VOCABULARY
Permits the selection of the language of the vocabulary used for the voice messages of the system.
Press the Vocabulary button in the lower part of the
window.
The English vocabulary can be found in the following directory C:\Program files\Tecnoalarm\Centro\WAV2\ENG
Select the file Msg_cnf.tcn .
Once you have finished programming of the opening message and set the language of the vocabulary, press:

OK to confirm and close the telephone configuration tables
z
Abandon to undo programming and close the telephone configuration tables
