If the option is disabled, the current code will be viewed.

C.3 INSTALLER CODE
The installer code is not subject to the same rules as the user codes. It is infact
possible to program a user code with the same value as the installer code.
The only exception is the default installer code, as it is reserved.
The conflict of the two codes is solved upon entering of the code. Differently than the
control panels of the previous generations, access is not given to the installer menu in
any case seeing that the code entered corresponds to the installer code, but rather to
the user menu.
CONFLICT INSTALLER-STANDARD USER CODE
If the installer code is the same as one of the user codes, e.g.:
z
Installer code
99999
z
Standard user code 200
99999
upon entering of the code, access is given to the standard user menu with the
attributes enabled for the code number 200.
On the display is viewed the opposite message.
To force access to the installer menu (maintenance), enter the default master code
first (e.g. 54321):
+
54321
On the display is viewed
Password Installer
.
Then enter the current installer code (e.g. 99999):
+
99999
Access is now given to the installer menu.
This procedure offers the following advantages:
1)
The installer does not run the risk that his code is discovered.
2)
The installer can continue to enter the installer menu using the new procedure
only in case his code has been cloned.
