4.2.2 TELEPHONE COMMUNICATOR WITH GSM MODULE
Open the telephone configuration tables and select the GSM configuration window by clicking on the tab Tecnocell .
On the screen is viewed:
The GSM configuration window permits enabling and configuration of the telephone communicator with GSM
module:

Tecnocell
The telephone communicator with GSM module TECNOCELL-PRO, if enabled, sends alarm and system status
messages via GSM network by means of prerecorded voice messages. It may be used as a backup device, if
the PSTN line has failed or replace the onboard telephone communicator anyway if there is no PSTN line.
Check the item to enable the telephone communicator with GSM module.

Answering
If checked, the GSM telephone communicator answers to incoming calls transmitting one of the two prerecorded
system status messages (control panel in stand-by or alarm active). By default, the GSM telephone
communicator answers after 3 rings.
The message is repeated until communication shutdown but in any case for maximum 1 minute.

Emergency call
The GSM telephone communicator communicates constantly via RS485 serial bus with the control panel. If the
communication is interrupted (serial bus badly connected or failed) for more than 30 seconds, the GSM telephone
communicator makes an emergency voice call at the number programmed (max. 15 digits) transmitting the
prerecorded emergency message.
Enter the emergency number in the item.

Message
Program the message to be sent during the emergency call by entering the number (1 to 4) in the item.

Number of rings
The number of rings prior to answering to incoming calls are programmable from 3 to 15. By default, the
telephone communicator with GSM module answers after 3 rings.

Emergency SMS
The telephone communicator with GSM module communicates constantly via RS485 serial bus with the control
panel. If the communication is interrupted (serial bus badly connected or failed) for more than 30 seconds and the
emergency SMS has been enabled, the GSM telephone communicator sends an emergency SMS (max. 80
characters) to the emergency number programmed.
Check the item to enable the emergency SMS and enter the message to be transmitted.

SMS heading
The SMS alarm message can be preceded by a header preceding the SMS message.
