LLDP configuration example 

As  shown  in  the  above  figure,  SW2  connects  to  port  0/1  of  SW1;  SW3 

connects  to  port  0/2  of  SW1.  Configure  LLDP  function  on  the  three 

devices. 

 

Configuration of SW1:

switch(config)#lldp run 

Start LLDP function 

switch(config)#port 0/1 

Enter into port 0/1 

switch(config-port-0/1)#lldp enable 

Start LLDP function of the port 

switch(config-port-0/1)#lldp  tlv-select  med-tlv

Choose to send MED TLV

Exit the interface

Enter into port 0/2

Start LLDP function of the port
