The default route points to the default gateway 1.1.1.1

Note:

1. By default, the switch permits to transmit the IP route. However in some special

circumstance, users can forbid the routing function. Following command can be used in the

global configuration mode to forbid the IP route transmission.

Switch (config)#no ip routing

In the global configuration mode, following command can be used to permit to transmit the IP

route.

router(config)#ip routing

2. The

format of the command can be used to delete a default route

Display Static Route

After the configuration is completed, to command

show ip route static

can be executed in

the privileged user mode to display the information about the configured static route and

default route. Users can validate the effect of the configuration by viewing the displaying

information.
