The OSPF uses three different management distances, including the
route in areas, the route between areas, and outer route. The default
management distance of the route in areas and the route between routes
is 110; the default management distance of the outer route is 150.
distance
This command is used to set the management distance of the OSPF
route. You can specify the management distance of one route type
separately. The no format of the command is used to recover the
default management distance of the OSPF route.

the route in areas, the route between areas and the
outer route); the value range is 1-255.
dist1
The management distance of the route in areas; the
value range is 1-255 and the default value is 110.
dist2
The management distance of the route between
areas; the value range is 1-255 and the default
value is 110.
dist3
The management distance of the outer route; the
value range is 1-255 and the default value is 150.

By default, OSPF floods new LSA to all interfaces of one area except the
interface that receives the LSA. In this way, although there is redundancy
processing, it is useful for synchronizing database. However, if there is
much redundancy processing (for example, in a connected network
topology), the bandwidth is wasted and the CPU resources are occupied,
which may affect the network. On the broadcast, NBMA, and point-to-
point network, you can block the LSA flooding on the specified interface
by configuring the following commands.
database-filter all out
Configure the command on one interface and you can block LSA from
flooding to the interface.
ip ospf [
ip-addr
] database-filter all out
