signal drops out. The blocking is reset as soon as the binary input signal returns.
Circuit breaker ready signals that drop out during a power system fault are checked
by monitoring times.
Circuit Breaker
Open and TRIP
If the auto reclose function detects that the circuit breaker is open but that there is no
TRIP command from any internal or external protection function, the auto reclose
function is statically blocked. This state can occur, for instance, if the circuit breaker
was not actuated by the protection but by the control. A prerequisite for detection of
an open circuit breaker is in this case that the breaker auxiliary contacts are connected
to the auto reclose function. The blocking is reset when the circuit breaker is closed.
