Minutes
knob to set the length of time in minutes for the panel to fall asleep.
This concludes the procedure to set the Panel Sleep Time.
Standard Mnemonics
To use this function, you must have the Mnemonic Display option installed on your switcher. For
information about obtaining the Mnemonic Display option, contact Ross Video Technical Support.
Use the following procedure to configure settings for the Mnemonic Display option:

Personality — Standard Mnemonics Options Menu
The settings chosen here affect the overall appearance of the mnemonics displays on the switcher.
Adjustable settings include the font size, the display color, and whether or not the displays will show
the shifted crosspoint names. Display configurations can be saved to a storage device such as a floppy
disk or USB key.
Mnemonics settings selected in the
Personality Menu
will be referred to as the
Standard
settings in
the various naming menus.
Note
The switcher does
not
act on a button push when coming out of “sleep”
mode.
The panel will
not
“go to sleep” if the panel is left in a disk related
menu such as the
Disk Store
or
Disk Recall Menu
.
The factory default time-out interval is 30 minutes.
When 0 is selected the panel will not enter into Sleep mode.
Note
When naming BNCs, Custom Control Banks, and Custom Controls,
you can also adjust the font and color settings for those individual
displays from the naming menus. Changes to individual displays in the
naming menus are
not
affected if further changes are made in the
personality menus later.
