Synergy Series Operation Guide (v18)
DSK to DSK Swap
Use the following procedure to swap a DSK with another DSK (or with an MLE Keyer):
1. Press and
hold
the
DSK Crosspoint
that you want to swap.
2. Press either
DSK 1
or
DSK 2
(or
KEY 1
or
KEY 2
)
in the second keyer’s
Transition
Group
. This can be the opposite DSK or a
different
MLE. The button that you select is
the keyer that is swapped.
3. Release both buttons. Both selected keyers swap their contents.
This concludes the procedure to swap a DSK with another DSK (or with an MLE Keyer).
Copy Matte
The
Copy Matte
function allows you to copy the contents of a matte generator to another matte
location on the switcher. Any button that is associated with a matte color can be used in the procedure.
The following buttons and locations are valid
destinations

In the Mattes Group:
BKGD1
,
BKGD2
,
BORD1
,
BORD2
,
PATT
The following buttons and locations are valid
sources
:

In the MLE Transition Group:
WIPE
•
In the MLE Key Groups:
MATTE FILL

In the DSKs:
MATTE FILL

BORD
•
In the MLE Buses:
COLOR BKGD1
,
COLOR BKGD2
Use the following procedure to copy a matte color:
1. Press and
hold
any button associated with a matte color in the
destination
Matte Group
.
2. Press any button associated with a matte in the
source
MLE or switcher function group.
The selected matte color is copied to the destination.
3. Release both buttons.
This completes the procedure to copy a matte color.
Copy Wipe
The
Copy Wipe
function allows you to copy a wipe pattern (and all associated modifiers) from one
MLE to another.
Use the following procedure to copy a wipe:
1. Press and
hold
the
WIPE
button in the
destination
MLE.
2. Press the
WIPE
button in the
source
MLE. All wipe parameters are copied to the
destination.
3. Release both buttons.
This completes the procedure to copy a wipe.
Note
Pressing
WIPE
for this procedure copies the
color
associated with the
wipe edge.
