You can navigate to the overlay function menus as follows:
1. Press
HOME
to display the Main Menu 1-2 .
2. Press
PREVIEW OVERLAY
to display the Preview Overlay Menu .
3. Pressing the required overlay function displays the appropriate menu. For example,
pressing
Source Identification
displays the Source Identification Menu .
Each overlay function is discussed in the following sections.
Source ID
The Source Identification overlay displays the name of the current program source, the
current transition (and direction), followed by the name of the current preview source.
For example:
VTR 1 -W-> CAM 2
CAM 1 -D-> MLE 3
• The program source is displayed on the left, in red letters.
• The following transition labels are displayed in the middle:

D
= dissolve
−
W
= wipe
−
S
= DVE send
−
ST
= S & T wipe
The transition label does not indicate the state of the three “next transition” buttons.
• The preview source is displayed on the right, in green letters.
• If a re-entry crosspoint is selected, its name will be listed.
If you change Preview sources, the overlay remains on screen, and in the case of
Source ID
, the overlay changes to reflect the new Preview selection.
Modifying the Source ID Overlay
Use the following procedure to modify the position and size of the Source ID overlay:
1. Press SOURCE ID in the Preview Overlay Group to display the Source ID Position
Menu .
