2. Modify the position and size of the Source ID overlay as follows:
•
Use the
X
knob to adjust the horizontal position of the overlay. You can also move
the
Positioner
left and right.
•
Use the
Y
knob
to adjust the vertical position of the overlay. You can also move the
Positioner
up and down.
•
Use the
Size
knob to adjust the size of the overlay. Choose between normal, double
or triple size letters.
3. Press
Done
to accept the new size and position, and store it in “personality” memory.
This completes the procedure to modify the position and size of the Source ID overlay.
VTR Timecode
The
VTR Timecode
overlay displays the timecode of a VTR, DDR, Video Server or
other serial-controlled device that is chosen on the Program/Preset MLE’s
Preset Bus
,
for example,
12:59:59:23
.
The remote port of the device must be connected to the switcher. For VTRs, the
VTR
Remote Control Option
must be installed. For Video Servers, the
Video Server
Control Option
must be installed.
The display is useful for determining if serial controlled devices are properly cued and
properly rolling after issuing “play” and “VTR Clip” commands.
When selected, the timecode overlay is updated in real time.
The overlay consists of a two-line display — the name of the selected device (top line)
and the timecode of the device (bottom line).
Modifying the VTR Timecode Overlay
Use the following procedure to modify the size and position of the
VTR Timecode
:
1. Press
VTR TC
in the
Preview Overlay
Group
to display the
VTR Position Menu
.

2. Modify the size and position of the VTR Timecode as follows:
•
Use the
X
knob to adjust the horizontal position of the overlay. You can also move
the Positioner
left
and
right
.
•
Use the
Y
knob to adjust the vertical position of the overlay. You can also move the
Positioner
up
and
down
.
