8. Maintenance
Overview
Introduction
This chapter gives an introduction to the maintenance of the analyzer together with
important information concerning procedures and requirements.

Follow legal requirements and local rules for safe work practices with
chemicals.

Working with blood chemistry analyzers may result in contact with
harsh disinfectants. During the various procedures wear suitable protection gear
(gloves, face protection, and protective body clothing), following legal
requirements and local rules for safe work practices.
CAUTION:
The gloves must be free of pinholes and preferably be puncture
resistant. Please consult the local glove manufacturer for further information.
CAUTION:
If contaminated material comes into contact with any lesion of the
body or mucous membranes, seek medical advice.
