Chapter 6: Replacements
Power Switch Cable
Introduction
Follow these steps to install the power switch cable.
Step Action
1.
Remove the electronics module.
2.
Remove the electronic boards assembly to gain access to the battery
control board.
3.
Disconnect the old power switch cable from the battery control board.
4.
Press the spring latches on the power switch to release the switch from
the rear panel and slide the old power switch cable out of the rear
panel.
5.
Verify that the switch rocker on the new power switch cable is in the
standby-off position (down).
6.
Verify that the unused contacts on the switch are oriented to the right
from the back of the rear panel.
7.
Install the power switch cable into the far left opening on the rear
panel (item
1
in figure 6-34). The cable will snap into place.
8.
Re-assembly the analyzer.
