Paper Jam
Introduction
This procedure is used to clear a paper jam in the printer
Causes of paper
jams
•
Paper jams are typically caused by the user allowing the free edge of the paper to
remain behind the printer door, rather than positioned to exit out the door. This
encourages the paper to roll back onto itself.
•
Paper jams can also be caused by tearing the paper off in a horizontal manner
rather than straight up or down.
