Chapter 7: Re-Assembly

ABL77 Service Manual

Battery Control Board

Introduction

Follow these steps using the power assembly figure to install the battery control
board (see Figure 7-26).

Step Action

Insert the white connector of the power board cable into J4 on the
battery control board.

Using three 7/8” button head screws and three #6 internal washers,
secure the battery control board to the chassis.

Using a 5/16” Kep nut, secure the power connector bracket to the rear
panel, directly below the UL ground label.

Connect the power switch cable to J2 on the battery control board.

Connect the end of the A/D cable that has the strain relief to J5 on the
battery control board.

Connect the fan assembly cable to J8 on the battery control board.

Connect the printer power cable to J6 on the battery control board.

From the rear, place the battery pack with battery insulator in the
chassis.

Connect the battery pack cable to J1 of the battery control board
through the opening in the rear panel.

Attach the battery door to the back of the rear panel.
