Valve Board with Replaceable Valves
Introduction
This procedure describes the process for removing the valve board with
replaceable valves from the lower module.
NOTE:
The valve board and analog board are a matched set for the Hct and SC
circuits and must be calibrated when either is replaced. This also applies when
replacing the lower module or electronics module, which contains these boards.
Calibration is not required when these boards are only removed and put back into
the same analyzer. Refer to Chapter 4, Test and Calibration Procedures, for
instructions on performing this procedure.

Removing the
valve board
Follow these steps to remove the valve board with replaceable valves assembly as
shown in the following figures.
Step Action
1.
Remove the lower module.
2.
Disconnect the lower module tubing from the manifold at the tubing
adapters.
3.
Disconnect the valve tubing from the sensor cassette luer on the valve
board (see Figure 5-18).
4.
Disconnect the tubing from the waste drain connector
5.
Disconnect the tubing from the bulk head connector.
