Module installation and connection

Procedure steps

Step

Action

Locate the slot where you want to install the module.

Remove the installed module or the filler panel.

Make sure that the insert and extract levers are extended away
from the front of the module.

Slide the module into the slot using the slot module guides as
shown in the following figures.

Throughout the remainder of this procedure, the first figure
shows the 8003, 8006, and 8010 chassis; the second figure
shows the 8010co chassis.
